Hi from Sydney, Australia.

I am having no luck sourcing a duplicate key for my 1999 6cyl petrol manual D8.

After trying a few locksmiths a reputable one tells me I need a remote key 433mhz ASK not FSK with an integrated (transponder chip on the board) ID45 chip. He says second hand keys are no good as the keys lock to the car.

Am worried that if I lose my one original key fob, another D8 may die.

Any help much appreciated.
